I knew her when she worked at....

As soon as I graduated from high school, I came back to the Bay Area
to get "summer work" until I returned to Bryn Athyn in the fall to go
to the Academy college. It has been one heck of a long summer! First,
I was too late to apply for summer jobs. So I interviewed for an
entry level clerk position at Ford Aerospace, where my sister worked.
I got the job. When September came, I just was not interested in
returning to school and living by "Mom's rules." I was making pretty
darn good money for someone my age, and I was really having fun.
The rest, as they say, is Silicon Valley history. And what's important
is NOT where I worked. The important part is, who did I work WITH?
And where did we all go when we weren't nose to the grindstone --
or did we ever have our nose to the grindstone? The functions I have
fulfilled within any organization have been secondary to the
relationships I built within my heart.
So what you will see here are stories about the people I worked with,
not the history of the business......
And in between all of these desk jobs, I've been building that
entertainment career I always said I would have! In 1982 I started
by doing Lip Sync Contests at The Country Store in Sunnyvale (now
Rooster T. Feathers). From then until now, the history can be found
on the Link to "All the Bar Joints in the South Bay." NO that does
not refer to anything other than STAGE PERFORMANCE.
