Yes, Ski. It's nothing new, I've used it since I was small. I like it.

The fact that I am the descendant of Polish-Americans is the reason
behind the "Ski" stuff. When I was young, my mother began to call me
Sharonski. Then, in 8th grade, my best friend and I noticed
that many of our schoolmates were getting "tagged" with increasingly
annoying nicknames, and, fearing the worst for ourselves, we
invented our OWN nicknames and invited acquaintances to use them, in
part or in whole. My entire nickname, as made up by me and my then
best friend, Marian Good, is Sharonskidoodlecrumblebeakertroyd.
"Ski" has been the most popular use, and has stuck with me through
high school and two subsequent work environments -- most people know
me as Ski, and some would be hard pressed to tell you my real name.
One person has, indeed, called me Troyd [thank you Nick Rose].
No one calls me doodle, crumble, or beaker.
Yet.
